Second Project

The second project (1997-1999), launched to celebrate the Golden Jubilee in 1996 of His Majesty the King's accession to the throne, was in the Pooluang Wildlife Sanctuary, Tambon E-Poom, Amphoe Dansai, Loei Province, covering a land area of 200 rai (80 acres). Approximately 20,000 local trees were planted, including casod trees, cervera odollam, pterocarpus, alstonia scholaris, bauhinia purpurea, malacca tree, and tamarind. This project was completed in December 1999.
